Reliable solutions for your product responsibility

The requirements of the WEEE Directive have been transposed into national law in each EU Member State. Despite a uniform legal basis, harmonized implementation has not occurred. This poses great challenges, especially for companies operating internationally.

Whereas numerous obligations can be varied and complex, our consulting services are just as unique and tailored to each situation. Depending on requirements, a "classic" analysis can be used to research, prepare and document (e.g. in the form of checklists) the requirements and concrete obligations that have been transposed into national law, for example, holistically and individually for the client. Corresponding recommendations for action serve to sustainably and permanently ensure compliance and, as a result, compliance with market access requirements.

In addition to the "classic" analysis and the monitoring based on it, we also offer tailor-made workshops and training and independent audits.

So that you know what to do - concretely and on an individual basis

WEEE (ElektroG) - Europaeische Richtlinie für den Umgang mit Elektroaltgeraeten. hpm unterstützt Unternehmen die internationalen und nationalen Pflichten zu erfüllen.

As part of an audit, all aspects and implemented processes of extended producer responsibility are extensively reviewed on site and documented in a detailed report together with recommendations for action and action plan. The main goals of the audit are the long-term assurance of compliance (including fulfillment of market access requirements and avoidance of product recalls) and the optimization of already established processes. In addition, the audit fulfills a distinctive training character through a detailed examination of the relevant topics.

Depending on your wishes and needs, the following aspects will be considered during an audit:

  • Manufacturer obligations at home and abroad
  • Registration scopes (e.g., completeness and classifications)
  • Reporting
  • Identification, information and disclosure requirements
  • Integration of extended manufacturer responsibility in the company processes
